You Saw Me and You Asked Me About It

Ok so you saw me at the grocery store.

And ok you saw me buying french fries, a gallon of milk and a package of mint Oreo cookies.

And maybe just maybe you saw me sitting in my car at the grocery store parking lot ripping open the package of mint Oreos.

Its not out of the realm of possibilities that you may have seen my eating three of the mint Oreo cookies in rapid succession and then drive away.

And then you caught a glimpse of me sitting at a 4 way stop drinking milk straight from the jug. But hey I just ate 3 Oreo cookies and I was thirsty.

You wonder what could have brought me so low....well I am not ready to talk about that yet.

All I will say is that I was a girl on the edge and those cookies keep me in check so I could come home and have a nice evening with The BF and The Pseudo Step-kids.

Its not healthy but a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do.

Of course I now have a package of cookies I no longer need...boy will the kids be happy about that. If I tell them.

  1. I almost always go to the grocery store hungry, either very early in the morning before my husband goes to work or before supper, when my husband gets home from work. As a result, you will almost always see me eating unfrosted strawberry pop tarts or package of vegan jerky and chugging some diet coke prior to driving away. I do this, with no troublesome issues in my life, so I promise I would not judge you. I hope you're feeling better about things now!

It's all good, don't let it stress you out. Stress is no good. Check out my Get Moving Monday Rant I did earlier this week. You might like some of it. :D

  4. So what happened to the french fries? ;p

Seriously, though, sorry you are having a hard time. I don't blame you for keeping the cookies for yourself. You might need them later!

I hope things are looking up for you. It's tough being a step-parent, pseudo or no.

Nice seeing you at #commenthour tonight! :)

  6. I was wondering what happened to the fries as well!

We all need our little comforts from time to time. I had some bad news last night that rocked me, but I treated myself to a glass of red wine, reflected and was able to move on.

Sounds like the Oreo's helped you out, and thats all that matters!

Thanks for the #commenthour chat, was lovely to meet you.

    1. Mostly it was drinking the milk straight from the gallon that was embarrassing.
