Suck It Cowboys

I love to watch football. No like I really like to watch football. Serious I am that girl that yells and throws stuff at the TV and you are not allowed to talk except at commercials.

One of my favorite parts of football is when the Dallas Cowboys lose a game. I take great pleasure in watching them lose like they did on Sunday Nights game against Washington Redskins (insert evil laughter).

I wanted to jump up and down, do a dance and scream SUCK IT DALLAS.

And last year I would have done just that but this year I am dating a HUGE Cowboys fan. And I mean he loves them as much as I dislike them. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. We didn't start dating until the playoffs last season; in fact on our 2nd date we watched the Minnesota Vikings put the smack down on those Cowboys (insert more evil laughter). And it wasn't a big deal....at least I didn't think it was a big deal.

My mom thought I should  have just broken up with him for liking the Cowboys but I thought its just one little thing.  I thought I can over look the fact that he has no taste in football teams.

Until Sundays game that is....now I'm thinking can this relationship survive such a difference. This is our 1st football season together can I really watch football every week with a man who lives and breathes the Dallas Cowboys. My need to trash the cowboys is waring with my need to be a supportive girlfriend.

Should I really suppress my loathing of the Cowboys for a boy?

Does this go against what I have been preaching to my nieces and friends for years?

I'm not Sandra Dee I don't change for a man....men change for me!!!!

I'm not sure how this is going to play out, I may be calling offsides and unnecessary roughness but I bet its entertaining.
