Last night I went on a date with The BF's Ex-Wife!!!
Okay so it wasn’t a "date" date but we did have dinner and go out to a movie. And thats kind of like a date. In fact that’s exactly what The BF and I did on our 1st date. He and I went to Texas Road House (his favorite restaurant) and saw Avatar. And his Ex-Wife and I had dinner at my house and saw The King's Speech. A movie The BF would go with me to see but would probably not enjoy.
A few days ago I decided I wanted to go see The King's Speech. And the only friend who could go was The BF's Ex-wife/My Friend. Realizing she gets off work at 5:00PM and the movie didn’t start until 6:45PM, I invited her over for spaghetti with my family. After a not so quiet, dinner with my sister niece, my sister's not-a-boyfriend and his kids, we went to the movie to watch the always dreamy Colin Firth stutter his way through a great movie.
I don’t know about you but that sounds a lot like a date to me!!!
My life is never dull.
By the way the movie rocked I highly recommend it.
I'm thinking this may be one of the safest divorced men in the world you'll ever find. I mean, if the ex-wife would recommend him and is willing to be YOUR friend, he probably isn't abusive, lazy, bad with money, a cheater, etc. and marriage just didn't work for the two of them. How fun for you!
