A Proud Social Network Whore

Recently I joined Google+ like so many other. After setting up my account, editing my profile and creating some cirlces I started to wonder do I need another social networking site? I have so many right now that my head is spinning in circles.

And now I feel bad if I am not spending time on all of them. But I need to spend time with my family and friends. I cant be connected all day every day thats not healthy right?

But which ones do I give up?
  1. Google+. I just joined so I should keep that one.
  2. Facebook. NO!!! Thats where I keep track of all my long lost friends.
  3. My two blogs. Thats my therapy...you all want me to keep blogging. Trust me.
  4. Goodreads. How would I keep track of my books?
  5. Twitter. I love twitter...that one I am keeping!
  6. Pinterst. Thats one is just fun and needs little from me.
  7. My Family. No thats how I keep up with my every growing extended family
  8. My Facebook Fan Page. But how would I know if people like me.
  9. Blog Frog. To be honest I dont do anything with this one at all.
  10. Flickr. We must not forget flickr, Although I often do forget.
Then there are the social sites I keep updated for my work. And all the sites I have joined and forgotten about.

I dont really like my family and friends any way.

So what sites do you belong to and which are your favorites?

  1. Yes MJ, we could be related. Not just because of the books and tattoos, but because we are both proud social network whores. Now to be honest, I don't know what I'm doing with half of them, but damnit, I am there anyways! Ohh what is Goodreads, must check that out! Have a great day hon!

  2. I use social networking under this name so my family can't find me. LOL

I really like having a few places I can go to release and say what I want. And every now and then somebody likes what I say. Therfore we all win. :)

  3. Heather Goodreads is social networking for book worms. We all talk about the books we read and write reviews on them. ALso join groups that talk about books. lol.

  4. I am mostly on Facebook. I am also on twitter. But still trying to get the hang of that. I'm on Blogfrog and forgot all about it until I read your post. Some of the networks you mention sound interesting but FB and Twitter are really enough.

Stopped by from FB Friday with #commenthour.

  6. Congrats on being selected for #CommentHour. I'm a little behind in my comments :-(

I use Facebook less and less. Some weeks more than others. I do catch up there and post business related stuff because that is where my market is.

Hope to see you later this week.

  7. I belong to just about everything except for pinterest. But apparently I need to join! I say keep them all! You don't have to use them all EVERYDAY..you can alternate.

  8. Trianna I like the idea of alternating. I think I will make a schedule.
