You ever wonder, "If I had a theme song what would I sing?"
Okay maybe you haven't had that thought maybe only I think about things like that but I think theme songs are important.
Its that song that no matter how many time you listen to it you want to hear it again and you swear its the one song that is about your life.
I know what I would sing....its the same song I have been singing for 20+ years.
Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Want to Have Fun. Isnt that what is most important...walking through life having fun and looking for that positive moment
Before I moved in with The BF I would jokingly say our song was Its Friday I'm in Love by The Cure. Living in different cities meant we only saw each other on weekends...and the weekends were often a love feast.
Just the other I told The BF our song was Crazy by Patsy Cline. Think about the lyrics...crazy for loving you (I know the song is about heart break but that one line seemed to fit). The BF looked at me and said I am not going to argue with the crazy part.
So then I started thinking what is our song....if we had one?
The BF and I both like music a lot so it seems odd we don't have a theme song.
It quickly occurred to me, we probably wouldn't agree on a song? We often have different ideas about everything.
I will just pick a song I like and tell him its our song. He may not agree but it won't stop me from telling everyone its our song.
